Miguel E. Aldrete

Mr. Miguel Eduardo Aldrete obtained the degree of electrical and electronic engineer at San Diego California (San Diego State University). He continued his education in the “Power Quality in Electrical Design” program and is a member of the “Power Quality Assurance” program in the US. He was president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. He obtained his Certification in Power Quality through the Association of Energy Engineers in 2001.

As a consultant for the International Power Association, he has spent more than 25 years training electrical engineers in power quality issues. His seminars are taught in multiple cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

He has managed to train and certify thousands of professional engineers from hundreds of public and private companies in Latin America. He has given seminars in conjunction with the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (Monterrey, Mexico), Universidad de los Andes (Bogota, Colombia) and Companhia Energetica do Brasilia (CEB) (Brasilia, Brasil).
Specializing in power quality, he has presented numerous studies identifying the problems, causes and solutions.
